There is no doubt that fans have been patiently waiting for Bobby Shmurda to release new music ever since he was released from prison and at last, it looks like that wish gets closer to coming true each day. The rapper on Thursday, April 7, posted a photo of himself in the studio with J Balvin & Eladio Carrion.
This may come as a surprise as all three artists have not had dealings in the past but it seems Shmurda is mixing different styles and storing away a lot of songs in anticipation of a big release.
“ShLatino Gang @jbalvin @_eladiocarrion,” Bobby Shmurda wrote with a bevy of fire emojis on Instagram. The rapper has previously held sessions with Rowdy Rebel and Lil Durk as well as super producers Mike WiLL Made-It and Zaytoven.
His associate Rowdy Rebel recently spoke on their plans for new music.
“We definitely gon’ show up to Summer Jam”, he said about the annual New York concert.
“I normally wouldn’t speak on my brother’s behalf, but I know my brother ain’t gonna miss Summer Jam. Some things are just mandatory.”
Bobby was conditionally released from Clinton Correctional Facility in New York around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to New York’s Department of Corrections and Community Supervision, and will be under community supervision until his sentence is completed on Feb. 23, 2026.
